The Kino-On-Video Series

Buster Keaton turned 100 in 1995, and to celebrate Kino released ten volumes of Buster's best silent films. Included are all 12 starring shorts Buster made before switching to features and all of his independently made and released features before joining MGM in 1928. All films were restored from the best archive materials by David Shepard. New music tracks have been added.

The Cameraman
(1928) 65m., music. Buster's first film for MGM is a wonderful comedy classic. Buster is a photographer who aspires to be a newsreel cameraman. Filmed in New York City. VHS: $29.95

Spite Marriage
(1929) 75m., music. Buster's final silent film is another MGM classic comedy. Buster is obsessed with an actress. He sees her paly every night, dressed up as a rich man. She marries him to spite her boyfriend, a cad anyways. Buster turns out to be poor. Can true love triumph? VHS: $29.95

Parlor, Bedroom and Bath
(1931) Made at MGM but never released by them. With Charlotte Greenwood. $19.95
