DAWN PATROL (1930) 108m. WAR. This print re-named as FLIGHT COMMANDER. Richard Barthelmess, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. Directed by Howard Hawks. World War I ace Dick Courtney derides the leadership of his superior officer, but Courtney is soon promoted to squadron commander and learns harsh lessons about sending subordinates to their deaths.

MOBY DICK (1930) 80m. DRAMA. John Barrymore, Joan Bennett. In this extremely loose adaptation of Melville's classic novel, Ahab is revealed initially not as a bitter and vengeful madman, but as a bit of a lovable scamp. Ashore in New Bedford, he meets and falls for Faith Mapple, daughter of the local minister and beloved of Ahab's brother Derek.

MOROCCO (1930) 92m DRAMA. Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich. Directed by Josef von Sternberg. A cabaret singer and a Legionnaire fall in love, but their relationship is complicated by the results of his womanizing and the appearance of a rich man who wants her for himself.

NUMBERED MEN (1930) 65m DRAMA. Conrad Nagel, Bernice Clair. Mary Dane and falsely imprisoned Bud Leonard love each other, but Lou Rinaldo, who framed Bud to get Mary, and escape-minded King Callahan, set events in motion to prove that love and justice will prevail.
